LONDON: European stock markets ended higher on Tuesday, with Frankfurt's main DAX index adding 0.82 percent to 9,588.15 points.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 gained 0.70 percent, ending on 6,822.76 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 jumped 1.18 percent to 4,393.41 points.
