LONDON: European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday, with Frankfurt's main DAX index edging up 0.30 percent to 9,507.02 points.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 gained 0.06 percent, ending on 6,829.17 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 lost 0.03 percent to 4,378.33 points.
