President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhary disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here on Wednesday.

He said that the federal government had allocated the special grant during an important meeting of EDF.

The advanced technical machinery would be purchased through the grant to modernize the surgical industry, which would also be helpful to boot the surgical exports and flourish this industry, enabling it to meet the global trade challenges under the WTO Regime, the SCCI President added.
