PTI using clumsy tactics to dislodge govt: Javed Hashmi

MULTAN: Veteran politican Javed Hashmi said on Saturday that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) had not given clear message to masses, rather following the politics of nepotism and using clumsy tactics to topple the government.

Addressing a press conference, he said that he had always difference with PTI chairman, Imran Khan on principles. He said he had asked the chairman that he could dislodge the government only through power of votes, while putting resignation could not get any loss to the government.

He said he had also warned Imran that PTI would get split on demand of resignations from the legislators. Today, he said the history had been repeating in the KPK government as people started raising slogans 'Go Pervez Khatak Go'.

He said he was not bias with the PTI. Hashmi accused Imran Khan of running the party as personal fiefdom where the poor got not choice.

He said Imran had adopted undemocratic attitude and turn the party into conservative one.

He expressed wonder as why PTI's resignations were remained unaccepted despite passing over two months.

The former MNA said Imran Khan had been surrounded with cronies like Shah Mahmood Qureshi. He termed death of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto caused due to such like weaknesses.

He said like former PPP chairman, most of the PTI tickets had been distributed among companions of Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

He criticized former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani as he should reveal its own agenda instead of criticizing other candidates. He believed in criticism based on issues only.

Hashmi expressed anger over a section of electronic media, for it had issued wrong footage against him while attending a funeral processions in Nishtar college mosque.
