Talking to a delegation of members of commerce and industry, he said the Punjab government was interested in promoting industry in south Punjab to raise economic opportunities.
He disclosed that three sites including Sakhi Sarwar, Cement Factory and Darahma were being examined and a feasibility report would be submitted after consultation with all stake-holders. He said 400 acres were necessary to establish the industrial estate.
MNA Sardar Saifuddin Khosa said establishment of the industrial estate in DG Khan would not only generate job opportunities for locals but also bring about prosperity in the area.
On this occasion, Project Director Chaudhary Khizer Hayat,president Chamber of Commerce Khawaja Muhammad Younis, president Anjuman-e-Tajran Maarajuddin Qureshi and others were also present.
