13 Dec, 2014

LAHORE: AmeerJamaat e Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the problems of the people could not be solved in the present corruption- ridden system as the solution lay only in building an Islamic, democratic Pakistan.

He was addressing the Talent Hunt programme organized by the Islami Jamiat e Talaba, at the Degree College, Samarbagh, on Saturday.

Sirajul Haq said that a handful of corrupt elite had been holding the country and the nation as hostage for the last 67 years. He said that the anti Islam forces were opposing the Islamic order simply to maintain status quo. However, he said, that those who were opposing the Islamic system, were revolting against the constitution which guaranteed the enforcement of the Islamic order based on the Quran and the Sunnah.

The JI chief said that education would be the top priority of the Islamic government after defense because this was the only way to end exploitation and tyranny in the society. He said that highest budget would be allocated for this sector.

A uniform education system would be introduced in the country and the children of the President and the Prime Minister and a poor labourer would get the same educational facilities, and added that such a system alone would prove the actual talent of the each child.

The national language would be the medium of instructions and the educational facilities in the rural areas would be upgraded and brought at par with the urban areas.

He said that the Islamic government would be responsible for providing jobs to all young men or to grant unemployment allowance to jobless youth. The government would ensure provision of justice to the common man at his doorstep.
