Talking to media on Saturday, Federal Law Minister, Maula Bakhsh Chandio maintained the constitution allows us to call Army if it is required in any area of the country to control the situation but such a situation is not prevailing in Karachi.

He said it is not only the failure of PPP, but failure of representatives of Karachi and other parties.

He suggested that the issue can be resolved through political steps because there is no other option.

Human Rights Commission of Pakistan's deputy Chairman and former Federal Law Minister, Iqbal Haider demanded truth commission and its findings should be implemented in letter and spirit.

He said, "I am making efforts for the establishment of truth commission, which is one step beyond judicial commission". The findings of truth commission should be made public and should also be implemented.

Zahid Khan of ANP said that the government should take action against criminal elements of Karachi and should resolve the issue through political steps.
