Govt committed to eliminate terrorism: Saad Rafique

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that government is fully committed to eliminate terrorism from the country.

Addressing participants of All Parties Conference called by the Jamaat-e-Islami on the issue of blasphemy here at Mansoorah Tuesday, he said that the terrorism, extremism and violence in the world had increased due to the partiality of the UN and the biases of the west.

He said that the issues of the Muslim world including Kashmir and Palestine had not been resolved for decades which gave rise to despair and lawlessness.

The Minister said the anti-Islam policies were giving rise to violence among the Muslims.

He stressed upon the leadership of Muslims to forge unity to combat challenges.

Saad Rafiq said the elected government in Pakistan was trying to unite the Muslim world on this issue. He also appreciated the statement of the Pope condemning blasphemy.
