TOKYO: Japan's top oil refiner JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp said on Thursday it would refine 1.08 million barrels per day (5.31 million kilolitres) of crude oil in March for domestic consumption, down 6 percent from a year earlier.

Its February crude refining for domestic consumption was estimated at 1.14 million bpd (5.09 million kl), down 4 percent from the year-earlier period, compared with an original plan of 1.15 million bpd (5.10 million kl), JX representatives said.
