HANOI: Vietnam's February index of industrial production (IIP) increased an estimated 7 percent from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office said on Friday.

The country's IIP annual growth in January was revised down to 16.4 percent from the initial estimation of 17.5 percent, the office said in its monthly report.

Vietnam's IIP rose 7.6 percent in 2014 from the previous year, picking up from an annual growth of 5.9 percent in 2013.
