ISLAMABAD : The water level in Tarbela dam rises to 1534.50 feet which is below only 13.50 feet from its maximum conserv

According to the data released by Indus River System Authority (IRSA) here Thursday, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1534.50 feet which was 156.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1378 feet.

Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 142,800 cusecs while out flow was recorded as 80,000.

Similarly the water level in Mangla dam was recorded as 1201.50 feet which is 8.50 feet below from its maximum conservation level of 1210.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1201.50 feet which was 161.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 20,666 and 13,000 cusecs respectively.

Meanwhile, the IRSA released 181,555 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 252,021 cusecs.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 138,246, 153,700 and 85,750 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 35,900 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 52,655 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
