PTI submits resolution in PA against Altaf Hussain

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday submitted a condemnation resolution in the Punjab assembly against Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.

In the resolution which was submitted by opposition leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, it has been demanded that Altaf Hussain should be detained through Interpol, brought back to Pakistan and punished for breaching the constitution.

It also states that Altaf Hussain was repeatedly making provocative statements against Pakistan Army alongwith regular use of hateful and inflammatory words.

The resolution paid glowing tributes to Pak army and eulogised the role of rangers for curbing terrorism and bringing peace in Karachi.
