Pak-India rail service resumes

LAHORE: Train service between Pakistan and India on Thursday resumed after clearance by Indian on Wednesday.

Samjhota Express, carrying 205 passengers, left Lahore for Attari at 8:00 am.

According to a spokesman of Pakistan Railways, Samjhota Express remained suspended about two weeks due to security reasons in the neighbouring country as per information by Indian Railways officials.
