16 police officers (ASPs) including three lady officers have completed their training courses regarding academic syllabus, aspects of Police Management, criminal justice administration, law and enforcement, community policing and crime management.
Ex Commandant NPA and IGP (R) Muhammad Abbas Khan was the chief guest of the parade. He congratulated all the graduating officers on the successful completion of their basic training.
Abbas khan said that Police and Pakistan Army are fighting against the terrorists and both Police and Army have rendered sacrifices of their lives during war against terror.
He underlined the need of trust among Police and general public for better coordination.
He said there should be reforms in Police department for their better performance.
Abbas appreciated the role of NPA for training the officers of Police Service of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasions Commandant NPA, Muhammad Khalid Qureshi said that the NPA's mission is impart best possible training not only to Police official but to other law and enforcement agencies.
He said that NPA has developed capacity building courses for all law and enforcement agencies including FC, FIA, IB, Punjab and Sindh Rangers.
