SINGAPORE: PetroIneos Trading, partly owned by PetroChina , is expected to ship a North Sea crude cargo to China this month, in what could be the country's first import of Ekofisk crude ever, trade sources said on Thursday.
A global oversupply of oil is enabling more North Sea crude to head to Asia, a trade flow that would have been rare a few years ago.
The company is expected to load the Ekofisk cargo on an Aframax tanker this month, one of the sources said.
