Police spokesman told here on Thursday that 27-year-old Musawwar resident of Chak 100-JB was an employee of a dyeing factory. He went to factory on Wednesday but neither he reached at the workplace nor returned home.
His relatives searched him a lot but in van. However, late night his dead body was found floating on surface of water in a sewerage drain near his village.
Police on receipt of information rushed to the spot and fished out the body which was bearing bullet injuries.
Police took the body into custody and sent it to mortuary for postmortem whereas investigation has been started after registration of a case on the complaint of Bashir, father of the ill-fated youth, the spokesman added.
