FESCO issues shutdown programme to repair, maintenance of electricity lines

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has issued shutdown programme for Thursday due to necessary repair, maintenance and expansion of electricity lines.

According to the programme issued by the company here Wednesday, power supply from Faiz Abad feeder originating from 132-KV Narwala grid station, Langar Makhdoom and New Dawar feeders emanating from 132-KV Lalian grid station, Gogera, College Road and Lahore Road feeders emanating from 132-KV Jaranwala grid station, Sitiana Village feeder originating from 132-KV Sitiana grid station, Dawar, Jhumra Road and Badshahi Masjid, Jhang Road and WASA Express feeders originating from 132-KV Chiniot grid station, Naimat Colony feeder emanating from 220-KV J-Wala Road grid station, Forest Park feeder originating from 132-KV Khurarianwala grid station, Darul Ehsan feeder emanating from 132-KV Chak Jhumra grid station, Nawaz Town, Sandal and BL Industrial feeders originating from 132-KV Chiniot Road grid station, Tariq Abad feeder emanating from 132-KV OTP grid station, Model Town feeder originating from 132-KV University grid station and Muhammad Pura feeder emanating from 132-KV Jhang Road grid station, will remain suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

While, Sohal feeder originating from 132-KV Thikriwala grid station, Bahaduri Wala feeder emanating from 132-KV Industrial Estate grid station, Farooq Abad and Amin Town feeders originating from 132-KV OTP grid station will face shutdown from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday (February 18).

Similarly, electricity supply from Khiyaban Colony feeder emanating from 220-KV Jaranwala Road grid station, Gaushala feeder originating from 132-KV Factory Area grid station, Lakkar Mandi and Jinnah Colony feeders emanating from 132-KV Jhang Road grid station and Al-Fareed feeder originating from 132-KV Thikriwala grid station, will observe shutdown from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on February 18, 2016.
