Pakistan was a main coalition partner of the United States in the war against terrorism and both the countries enjoyed good cordial relations, he said while talking to a private news channel.
He expressed the hope that the success in the war against terrorism would make the world a more secure place.
Aizaz Chaudhry said the issue of F-16 fighter jets would be resolved soon. F-16s, he said, would more effectively help Pakistan in the war against terrorism.
He said Pakistan was sincerely trying to restore peace in Afghanistan as durable peace in the neighbouring country was essential for it and the entire region.
Replying to a question, he said the operation Zarb-e-Azb was passing through a critical phase.
He said the National Action Plan (NAP) had been implemented in all parts of the country.
