According to the Ministry here on Monday, pursuant to request made by Home Department, government of Sindh on May 3, 2016 and in continuation of Ministry's notification No. 9/1/95-R (Sindh) on February 3, 2016, the powers conferred upon Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi Division are extended for another period of 77 days from May 4, 2016.
The powers are conferred upon Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi Division under clause (1) of sub section-3 of section-4 of Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 (XXVII of 1997).
