Saarc states urged to help resolve Kashmir issue

The Deputy Speaker of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Alhaj Muhammad Sanaullah Qadri has urged international community and Saarc countries to take pragmatic steps for the solution of Kashmir dispute by giving right of self-determination to Kashmiris.
He said this while talking to a gathering of journalists in his chamber.
He said that it is the political and moral obligation of the Saarc countries to pressurise India for the provision of the basic right to Kashmiris and to resolve Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions.
He hoped that being a good politician Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee should take steps regarding the resolution of Kashmir dispute in peaceful manner.
AJK Deputy Speaker said that for the eternal peace in the region, the countries have to change the warfare atmosphere of the world and they have to upgrade the standards of life in accordance with the international rules and regulations.
"Saarc should look into these important issues and also solve other problems along with Kashmir dispute" he suggested.
While answering a query, AJK Deputy Speaker hoped that India would take some good steps towards resolution of Kashmir dispute.
