FPCCI chief hails Islamabad Declaration

The President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Riaz Ahmed Tata appreciated the Islamabad declaration and the press conference thereon of Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali sat the concussion of the 12th Saarc summit.
President was confident that the important decision taken in the Saarc summit were earnestly implemented, a new era of progress and prosperity would usher in all member countries.
Tata stressed the need for an effective mechanism for intensified and effective implementation of all socio-economic decisions taken by the Saarc leaders.
He proposed a functional road map for effective and efficient of the Saarc decision.
Tata said that in spite of enormous resources, the people in the Saarc countries continue to live in pathetic poverty as the countries have wasted the resources in conflict rather than deploying them in co-operation.
Tata said it is heartening to see that, now, all the Saarc leaders have unanimous sagged to concentrate their countries resources on socio-economic uplift rather waste them on mutual conflict.
President FPCCI said that for the first time in half a century, significant improvement in geo-economics of the Saarc countries can be expected.
He said that the positive environment and sentiments created by the Saarc summit augments well for the trade and industry of all countries.
