Zilhij moon may be sighted on January 23

There was a high probability of the 1424 Zilhij moon being sighted in Pakistan on the evening of Friday (January 23), as also in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, North and South America, said Pakistan Academy of Sciences.
Since at sunset on January 22, the age of the moon would be only 13 hours, so it would not be sighted on January 22 anywhere in Pakistan, but would be visible in West and South Africa, the USA, Central and South America.
