Bulls hold sway on Islamabad Stock Exchange

Equities continued to show plus signs on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls dominated the proceedings amid increase in index.
ISE network index showed an increase of 79.08 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 9,321.17 to 9,400.25 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 903,800 shares as compared with the previous volume of 4,350,700 shares.
Total 159 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (96) closed in positive territory, 61 showed negative signs while 2 companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) was 291,000 shares as compared with the previous turnover of 2,461,500 shares.
The turnover of PSO was 658,600 shares as compared with the previous volume of 972,900 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 525,000 shares.
