The government of NWFP has started negotiations with the kidnappers of the Punjab Minister for Sports and Culture, Naeemullah Shahani for the safe and sound recovery, reliable sources in Fata secretariat told Business Recorder on Thursday.
The sources, talking on the condition of anonymity said that the government is close to the recovery of the abducted minister kidnapped from Miran Shah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency, six days back.
According to sources, kidnappers have not demanded any ransom amount for this release, but the government has even shown leniency to pay ransom amount in case the kidnappers demand so.
In this connection, when Business Recorder contacted Brigadier Mehmood Shah (Retd), he declined to talk saying he is busy in offering his Isha'a prayers.
