Smeda moot on January 21

The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) is going to hold a one-day conference on 'SME Development-the way forward' on Wednesday (January 21).
According to a press release issued here by Smeda, Governor Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) will attend the conference as Chief Guest.
Liaquat Ali Jatoi, Federal Minister for Industries and Production will preside.
Shahab Khawaja, CEO of Smeda will deliver address of welcome on this occasion followed by presentations by private sector on Agriculture, Textile, Housing, Furniture, Professional Services, Regulatory and Financial issues.
Later, an interactive session will be conducted for seeking suggestions from the general participants of the conference on development of SME sector as well as Smeda role in this sphere.
Smeda has invited plenty of the SMEs availing of its services directly or indirectly to attend the conference.
Smeda CEO Shahab Khawaja is confident that the conference will pave way for making radical development in the SME sector.
He is determined to hold such conferences also in Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.
