The central leader of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), Liaquat Baloch, has advised the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD) to abandon politics of agitation, lend support and bring practicable proposals to the government to enable it to overcome crisis.
Talking to workers of Jamaat-e-Islami to which, who is Naib Ameer, he said the alliance signed an agreement with the government just for the supremacy of the parliament and smooth running of present democratic system.
He expressed the hope that the government would honour its commitment and implement MMA's 17-point demands to make the country an Islamic welfare state.
He called upon Islamabad to hold talks with India on Kashmir issue on equal basis.
