Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 117,923 tonnes of cargo including 106,694 tonnes import and 11,229 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 33,968 tonnes dry and 83,955 tonnes liquid cargo.
Two ships namely Global Traveller and Al Kyon sailed to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Kota Perabu, Shalamar and Keefan are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Matin Ka, Kota Perabu and Glory Sanye expected to sail on Tuesday, while five vessels viz Conti Asia, Anjum, Mercs Kirinda, Shalamar and Keefan are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Four ships namely M.T. Johar, Oriental Bright, Ocean Star Light and Torm Mergrethe due to arrive on Tuesday, while seven vessels viz Kota Intan, Apl Jakarta, Loul Wat Qatar, Hyundai Stride, Global Prosperity, Puma and Sargodha are due to arrive on Wednesday.

A total cargo volume of 54,388 tonnes including 44,613 tonnes import and 9,775 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 2,000 tonnes edible oil; 6,334 tonnes general cargo; 14,740 tonnes iron ore and 31,314 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely Contship Champion and Santa Felicita sailed to sea on Tuesday morning.
A total of two vessels viz Eastern Queen and Mare Caspium are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely Mare Caspium and Indradi due to take berths on Tuesday.
Four vessels viz M.V. Pearl of Fujarah, Global Traveller, Maersk Avon and Glory Sanye due to arrive on Tuesday, while two more ships namely M.V. MSC Austria and Conti Germany are due to arrive on Wednesday.
