Singapore bunker prices firmer

21 Jan, 2004

Singapore bunker prices were steady to firmer on Tuesday, taking some support from a draw-down in inventories and higher crude prices.
Singapore 380-centistoke (cst) prices were quoted at $174/$178 a tonne, while prices for 180-cst were pegged at $180/$183 a tonne, $1-$2 above Monday.
Official data showed Singapore's onshore stocks of residual fuels were 9.745 million barrels on January 19, down 1.327 million barrels from January 15.
Bunker inquiry levels stood between 5,000-8,000 tonnes, below Singapore daily market average of 12,500 tonnes.
Marine gas oil prices in Singapore were mostly steady at $$310/$315 a tonne.
