Turkish Deputy Prime Minister meets President

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul called on President General Pervez Musharraf here on Wednesday. During the meeting, the two sides took account of the regional and international situation and the relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
President Musharraf apprised Abdullah Gul, who is also Turkey's Foreign Minister, that his talks with the Turkish President and Prime Minister were "very productive" and `good'.
He said there was a great desire by both the sides to further develop their relations in diverse areas.
The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister expressed desire that the two countries should further strengthen their political, diplomatic and economic ties.
He said President Musharraf's visit will achieve this objective.
