Punjab farm researchers to get training abroad

The Punjab government will send agricultural research scholars for training abroad.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi stated this while chairing a seminar on 'Agricultural Research' here on Wednesday.
He dilating on measures undertaken in agricultural research in the province stated that with the co-operation of the agricultural scientists belonging to the private sector along with the assistance of foreign experts, measures have been undertaken to increase agricultural produce in Punjab.
The chief minister also averring on measures in agricultural development stated the measures to improve marketing system had also been taken in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Agriculture Minister Arshad Khan Lodhi said the steps to create a linkage between research institutes in agriculture have been taken up in Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister's Advisor Jahangir Tareen said the most modern training would be imparted to agricultural scientists in the province.
