The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday put off till second week of February, the proceedings in a petition filed by a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, who approached the court against expansion in provincial cabinet as the law officer did not appear before the court.
The petitioner, M.D. Tahir, advocate; contended that people of Pakistan are facing hardships, but the respondent Punjab chief minister instead of providing basic facilities to them has expanded the cabinet, thus increasing burden on the public exchequer.
