PPP demands release of nuclear scientists

Refuting the claims of Federal Information Minister Shaikh Muhammad Rashid, Pakistan People's Party said that it is a bundle of lies because families and relatives of nuclear scientists are not aware of their whereabouts and they forced to file writ petitions in the court of law to get them released, said PPP leaders Habib ullah Shakir.
District President, Khalid Hanif Lodhi, General Secretary, Muhammad Ilyas Khan advocate, District President (Women Wing) Begum Shama Awan, Hashim Khan Babur of PYO (South Punjab), A.D Baluch, Raeees-uddin Qureshi in a joint statement issued here on Thursday.
They said, "It is shameful act of the present government that nuclear scientists who made the country capable to face the enemy in effective manners are being interrogated and debriefed by the secret agencies.
They said that atomic scientists who were adjudged as national heroes are being humiliated at the behest of United States and their name were included in the exit control list.
