Bangladeshi taka ends flat for second straight day

The Bangladeshi taka ended unchanged for a second day at 58.87/58.88 per dollar on Thursday, as dominant public banks sold dollars to importers, dealers said.
Call money rates were flat at 3.85 percent to 7.0 percent ahead of the local Friday weekend.
The central bank accepted two-day repo bids for 1.09 billion taka ($18.66 million) at 4.5 percent.
