Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 80,925 tonnes of cargo including 73,555 tonnes import and 7,370 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 32,844 tonnes dry and 48,081 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Apl Jakarta, Hyundai Stride, Torm Margrethe and Mercs Kirinda sailed to sea during the report period.
Two vessels viz Loul Wat Qatar and Sea Ford are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Loul Wat Qatar, Orange and Oriental Bright expected to sail on Saturday.
Four ships namely Kota Tegap, Atlantic Sol, Wajid Arab and Orange due to arrive on Friday, while five vessels viz Global Prosperity, BBC Shanghai, Banglar Robi, Induruwa Valley and Australia Bridge are due to arrive on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 3,693 tonnes general cargo; 9,233 tonnes iron ore and 30,753 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely M. T. Indradi and Maersk Avon sailed to sea during the report period, while another ship M. V. Alwine Olden Droff expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
A total of five vessels viz Pearl of Fujarah, Eastern Queen, Saudi Tabuk, Safmarine Prime and Carmen are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Safmarine Prime, Kemton and Eastern Queen due to take berths on Friday.
Two vessels viz M.V. Anangel Express and Orange due to arrive on Friday, while two more ships namely Wan Hai-303 and Hotaka are due to arrive on Saturday.
