German construction orders at medium-sized and large firms fell 7.9 percent in the year through November in real terms, statistics office data showed on Friday.
For the January to November period orders fell 10.4 percent from the same period a year earlier, the Federal Statistics office said.
Germany's construction industry has been in recession since the country's post-unification building boom ended in 1995.
