Pakistani army's role for peace in Sierra Leone lauded

Special Representative of secretary general, Daudi Ngelautwa Mwakawago on Tuesday visited Headquarters of Pakistan Army Contingent of United Nations (UN) mission at Sierra Leone.
On his arrival, Commander of Pakistan Army Contingent Brigadier Sajjad Ahmed Bakhshi received the chef guest. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army Battalion presented the guard of honour.
Addressing the officers and men of Pakistan Contingent, Special Representative of secretary general, Daudi Ngelautwa Mwakawago lauded their efforts in bringing peace and stability to the region.
"Through your collective efforts people of Sierra Leone are beginning to enjoy the fruits of lasting peace," he said.
Commander of Pakistan contingent Brigadier Sajjad Ahined Bakhshi in his welcome address assured the SRSG for commitment of Pakistani troops for the welfare, security and stability of Sierra Leone.
