China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has invited Pakistan to attend international software exhibition, scheduled to be held at Chengdu from April 5 to 7.
A senior official of the Council's Yu Xiaodong told APP in Beijing that the exhibition would provide an excellent opportunity to showcase latest products, technologies and learn the latest development of the industry.
It would promote bilateral co-operation to strengthen the software industry for mutual benefit, he added.
During the exhibition, conference and seminar will be held to address a wide spectrum of hot issues that help increase understanding and co-operation between China software companies and their overseas counterparts.
There will also be business matchmaking meetings, where the participants can find potential partners for joint ventures.

China's software industry has witnessed rapid development in recent years and become one of the most dynamic sectors in China, which creates numerous business opportunities for companies home and abroad.
The software industry will reach 250 billion-Yuan by 2005. It is developing at the rate of 30 percent a year, said Chen Chong, President of China Software Industry Association (CSIA).
Pakistan and China already engaged in exploring joint collaboration opportunities in field of software and information technology. Pakistan Software Export Board and ChinaSoftware Industry Association have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Pak-Sino co-operation in the software sector.
It aimed at raising awareness about the software industry of both the countries to increase co-operation and joint ventures.
