Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed in Fata to mark solidarity of Fata people with their Kashmiri brethren.
The main ceremony in this connection will be held at Jamrud in Khyber agency, on 5th February, which will also be participated by the NWFP Governor Lieutenant General Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah (Retd) besides the leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Fata parliamentarians, leaders of minorities and people from different walks of life.
The ceremony will include a public meeting and a walk up to the historic Babe Khyber, to be led by the Governor NWFP.
Meanwhile, the ruling Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in NWFP would also staged a Kashmir Solidarity rally in Peshawar City.
The rally would be started from Milad Chowk, New Rampura Gate and after passing through Ashraf Road, Chowk Yadgar and Pepal Mandi would culminate at Historical Kissa Khwani Bazaar.
NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani would lead the rally.
The Muslim Conference, Peshawar had also planned to organise a public rally on the Kashmir Solidarity Day. A provincial leader of PML-(Q), and president of Muslim Conference NWFP Muhammad Saeed Butt advocate has appealed all political organisations to express the day in a befitting manner.
