Rashid leaves UK for US

Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed left for the United States after a brief stay in the United Kingdom.
He was seen off at the Manchester airport by Pakistan High Commission's Consul General Salahuddin and friends of the minister on Sunday.
Sheikh Rashid is visiting the United States to attend "the National Prayer Breakfast" in Washington DC which is an annual US event, and will be addressed by US President George W. Bush on February 5.
The guests are invited from all over the world, and Pakistan would be represented by Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed
During his stay in the US, Sheikh Rashid will also address the meetings being organised in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, which is being marked to express solidarity with the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He will also meet media to brief it on various issues of national importance.
