Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has called upon the people to follow the message of Allah Almighty delivered through Hazrat Ibrahim (pbuh) and his beloved son Hazrat Ismail (pbuh).
"Today we need the same emotions of sacrifice to bring improvement in our lives," he said in his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated on Monday.
He said that the sacrifice made by Hazrat Ibrahim (pbuh) was many of the messages, which, if followed, could bring visible positive changes in our society.
He said: "It is the occasion that we should also remember and involve the needy and poor in the celebrations."
The governor said, "if we follow the principles, laws, and social regulations in true spirit and the tradition set by Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, we could transform ourselves as a civilised nation."
"Pakistan came into being because of the great sacrifices of Muslims and to keep it stable, strong and prosperous, we have to follow the teachings of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi," he said in his message.
