Featureless trading on commodity markets

Wheat and guwar fluctuated more than once in featureless trading on the commodity wholesale markets during the week ended on January 31, 2004.
However fluctuations occurred, besides wheat and guwar, in plastic mouldings, sela karnel, kirana items, teas, dyes, chemicals, sugar etc.
The prices of wheat fluctuated twice to be quoted last at Rs 1100 and Rs 1120, til Sindh inferior was up Rs 25 to Rs 1625 and better up Rs 40 to Rs 1840, sugar fluctuated to be last quoted at Rs 1625 and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1680, guwar thrice fluctuated to be last quoted at Rs 1270 and Rs 1300, broken rice Irri white down Rs 5 to Rs 945 and better down Rs 5 to Rs 450, yellow peas inferior quoted at Rs 1450 and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1470, dal yellow peas down Rs 25 to Rs 1525, and better down same amount to Rs 1535, beetle chana I down Rs 25 to Rs 1550, and better down Rs 30 to Rs 1580, gram down Rs 25 to Rs 1490, and gram dal down Rs 25 to Rs 1650, and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1680, black pepper from Singapore rose by and lost Rs 50 to Rs 4600, nutmeg down Rs 200 to Rs 8200, big cardamom up Rs 100 to Rs 10800, cloves up Rs 300 to Rs 8100, dry ginger down Rs 100 to Rs 4800, peanuts down Rs 100 to Rs 1600.
Isbaghol quoted at Rs 7600, Sago up Rs 10 to Rs 970 and aniseed down Rs 100 to Rs 5400, darchini up Rs 25 to Rs 2700, rapeseed Nawabshah up Rs 5 to Rs 740, and Rs 750, rapeseed cakes shed Rs 3 to be quoted at Rs 260 and Rs 265.

Teas from Kenya PF-1 A grade down Rs 2 to Rs 198, B grade down Rs 2 to Rs 172, plus C grade down Rs 5 to Rs 235, B grade down same amount to Rs 220 and plus C grade up Rs 2 to Rs 180.
JUTE GOODS: Twine 20x3 Bawany brown down Re 1 to Rs 30 16x3 CRT/Indus down 50 paisa to Rs 30, PJSL lost same amount to Rs 30, 40x2 Bawany down 50 paisa to Rs 28.50.

PLASTIC MOULDINGS: HDPE film Saudia 952 down 50 paisa to Rs 34.25, and Mobil down same amount to Rs 34.25.
LLDPE 7087 down 25 paisa to Rs 35.25, and polypropylene film Thai down 63 paisa to Rs 34.12, Kuwait down same amount to Rs 34.12, and India down Rs 63 paisa to Rs 34.12.
SATURDAY'S: Til Sindh quoted at Rs 1625 and better up Rs 10 to Rs 1850. Raw rubber Ceylon's RSSV Rs 40, Latex Semnan Rs 325, Thai G.T. Rs 330.
