The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has, in its message on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha, asked Muslims the world over not to forget the plight of Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir amidst Eid festivity.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC Information Secretary Ayaz Mohammad Akbar releasing the APHC Eid message here on Sunday, said while the entire Muslim Ummah will be enjoying Eid festivity, the people of occupied Kashmir will remain entangled in the worst hardship and victimisation.
He said on the auspicious occasions of Eid-ul-Azha, we extend felicitations to helpless widows, orphans and the poor, while fully mindful of the unique sacrifices of the thousands of Kashmiri liberation martyrs and those incarcerated for years in illegal detention, as well as, Kashmiris compelled to live as migrants in foreign lands.
The APHC leaders, who issued separate Eid messages, including Ghulam Nabi Sumji, illegally detained Massarat Aalam Butt and Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi. They renewed Kashmiris' pledge not to spare any sacrifice to attain the cherished goal of liberation.
