Rana Mohammad Sadiq, a leading businessman from Okara, while talking to IG praised the performance of the police for strictly ensuring traffic discipline on highways, which ultimately guarantees safe journey.
Round-the-clock armed patrolling on the Motorway and National Highway network has been beefed up to ensure smooth traffic flow and travel safety before, after and during the Eid holidays. Special security arrangements have been made for the Eid holidays for safe travelling.
The force equipped with sophisticated weapons has started night patrolling in wireless and radar guns fitted cars, apart from the usual 'help service' to travellers and the vehicle repair facility available through its mobile workshop.
