A three-member Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) delegation will arrive in Lahore on Monday (February 9) afternoon on 8-day visit.
The delegation includes Professor R.S Shetty, Joint Secretary, BCCI, Yashovardhan Azad, Inspector General of Police, VIP Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and Amrit Mathur, Director Communications and Co-ordination, BCCI.
The team will visit Multan, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi, Faisalabad and Lahore centres - the possible venues for the upcoming home series against India.
They will be accompanied by a four-man Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) team that includes Zakir Khan, General Manager Cricket Operations, Samiul Hasan, General Manager Media, Major Javed Arshad Khan Manj (Retd), Manager Services and Human Resources, and Asad Mustafa, Manager Logistics and Development.
During the visit, the Indian delegation will attend briefings from Pakistani security agencies and meet government officials besides discussing matters regarding the forthcoming series.
The Indian and the PCB officials will not be directly available to media during their tour. However, a joint statement will be released after the conclusion of the visit.
