Fake currency recovered

In an operation against fake currency note operators in Sindh, the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) unearthed a network and recovered big quantity of fake currency.
According to details, on a tip-off the Rangers caught a member of the fake currency operators gang and after his interrogation, a team was formed and on the basis of information collected, apprehended other members of the network from NWFP and Sindh.
Rangers said that fake currency notes of Rs 100, 500 and 1,000 denomination totalling Rs 0.5 million were recovered from the gang.
Investigations showed that this gang used to get notes from Peshawar and supply the same in Karachi and interior of Sindh through the network.
The gang leader was identified as Jasarat Khan who hails from Peshawar.
