The Bangladeshi taka edged up on Tuesday, with dollar supplies boosted by remittances from expatriates, dealers said.
The taka was quoted at 58.8650/58.87 per dollar against 58.87/58.88 on Monday.
Call money rates ranged between 5.0 percent and 12.0 percent, compared with 4.5 to 12.0 percent on Monday.
Central Bangladesh Bank accepted one-day repos worth 2.99 billion taka at 4.5 percent on Tuesday.
