The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has given duty drawback on export of rice gluten protein and liquid glucose from February 9, 2004, according to a notification issued here on Wednesday.
The duty drawback will be 0.38 percent of the fob value on the export of liquid glucose and 0.34 percent of the fob value on rice gluten (rice protein concentrate/rice meal).
According to an amendment in the standard SRO.415(I)/2001, the raw material used in the manufacture of finished products include calcium cholride, decalite-4300, spezume fred, optidex L 300, ion exchange resin and spezyme BBA 1500.
The CBR has used powers conferred by clause (c) of the section 21 of the Customs Act, 1969.
