District Co-ordination Officer Attock, Syed Muhammad Javaid has taken a serious notice on the sale of sub-standard meat in the city and asked the relevant department to take immediate action against the culprit butchers.
While presiding an official meeting he directed EDO Agriculture to submit daily report about the action taken on this matter to him and depute a vet doctor for regular inspection of the slaughterhouse.
The EDO said that no one would be allowed to endanger the health of the citizens and strict action would be taken against the culprits.
He also asked the judicial magistrate to check the fish price at Hassanabdal and urged the shopkeepers to display the price list on prominent places of their shops.
During the meeting, availability of flour in the district were reviewed and noted that there was no shortage of atta in the district.
