An Afghan fighter has killed a commander and three soldiers loyal to a rival warlord, the victims' faction said on Saturday, sparking fears of fresh fighting in Afghanistan's north.
A commander of warlord, Atta Mohammad and three soldiers were killed by a commander of General Abdul Rashid Dostam in Sholgara district of Balkh province on Thursday, Atta Mohammad's deputy Lieutenant General Abdus sabir told AFP.
"Our Commander Hajib and three of his soldiers were killed by Commander Zahir Baba from Junbish party," he said.
