Contempt plea: sugar mill told to file reply

Justice M. Javed Buttar of the Lahore High Court (LHC), taking up a contempt plea, directed the management of Pattoki Sugar Mills to furnish a reply within three weeks.
The petition was filed by Maqbool Ellahi submitted that he was dismissed by the respondents by levelling false and bogus allegations against him. He had approached the LHC in this regard, and the court reinstating him had directed the respondents to award him full back benefits from the date of dismissal from service.
He further submitted that by non-compliance of the judgement of the court so far, the respondents was guilty of contempt of court, and prayed the court to take notice of the same and also take action against the respondents who had made a rolling stone of him.
He further prayed that the respondents be directed to compensate him over and above the amount of his due benefits.
